Xiaomi MIUI developers have announced that as of this month, all Mi and Redmi phones purchased without pre-installed GMS will no longer be available for free download.
Όas it is known, in China, all Chinese Smartphone manufacturers market in the country devices that do not have pre-installed its Services Google, as all Google platforms are banned in the Asian country.
However, Chinese users of the devices were usually able to download them if they planned to use their phone outside of mainland China or via a VPN.
Unfortunately now, Xiaomi in China is not giving this simple option to do so from now on, as MIUI developers announced that from this month, all phones Mi and Redmi, purchased without GMS pre-installed, will no longer be able to download them freely.
The devices that will be affected by this change are mainly phones that have been released for the Chinese market, such as the Mi 10 Ultra, the Redmi K30 Ultra and the Redmi 10X series.
Recommended for users who want to have Google GMS to seek third-party services such as its platform CoolAPK which allows the installation of these applications through side load.
However, there are many who have been unnecessarily disturbed by this development, as they are mostly enthusiastic users who prefer to buy their phones directly from China, either because of the lower cost or because they liked a model that is not available in their country.
But even in this case it is possible to unlock Bootloader of the device and someone to do Flash a Global, EEA ROM or a Costum ROM such as e.g. XTRV MIUI ROM of our community, and will have no problem.
In any case, they never had Chinese devices Google GSM and Play Store pre-installed, so nothing changes for all of us here in Europe, and some are worried about this Xiaomi decision.

If the mobile (Mi 10T) is international version after checking the IMEI and the software is global does this mean that it is Chinese with global rom?
If so, is it done in case of updates?
Basically the question is between Global and international Versions
Do not worry. Global (or International) and general devices that have come from Xiaomi's mom with pre-installed Global or ESA (for Europe), are not affected at all by Xiaomi's new measures.
It's not like it happened to Huawai that ate BAN from Google itself.
Things are simple and we do not need to make them complex.
