Xiaomi: Demonstrated power with 40W wireless fast charging

It seems that wireless charging will be one of the features we will see you develop this year and Xiaomi aims to be a pioneer.

ΠThe company presented the Mi 9 Pro 5G the world's first mobile phone with 30W fast wireless charging - technology Mi Turbo Charge- and this year it wants to bring speeds that its competitors do not yet have in wired charging.

The Vice President of the Group, Chang Cheng, uploaded a teaser to Weibo to advertise the upcoming solution 40W wireless fast charging the company's. The results are impressive!

A modified version of it was used during the test We 10 Pro with battery 4.000 mAh and the new wireless charger managed to cover 57% of the battery in 20 minutes and reached full charge in just 40 minutes!

The Chinese company introduced 100 W cable charging late last year, but the Mi 10 Pro flagship reaches 50W. This indicates that an experiment may not be immediately available on the market. We know that batteries when they heat up lose time from their overall life.

Oppo (and its subsidiary Realme) have two batteries inside to catch the 65W. An Oppo executive has stated that a 5000mAh battery is practically 4000mAh when charged for a long time from 50 + W. However, from 30W to 40W the jump is not big.

There is still no word from official lips on when the new high-speed wireless charging technology will hit the market, but it is safe to assume that we will see it in Xiaomi's next flagship.
