Η Xiaomi today renewed its flagship fleet with two new models belonging to the T series - the new Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro.

The Xiaomi 11t pro powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset (not the Plus) like the We 11 Pro. But now the Xiaomi 11t pro is equipped with a smaller flat screen on 6,67 ”with 1080p + resolution and 20: 9 aspect ratio. Let us remind you that We 11 Pro has a curved screen at 6,81 ”with resolution 1440p +.
The screen at Xiaomi 11t pro still has refresh rate at 120Hz, touch sampling rate at 480Hz and support at HDR10 +, although the maximum brightness is now 1.000 nits (from 1.500 nits in the Mi 11 Pro).
The other important difference is in the main camera, which now has a sensor on 108MP (2,1 μm pixel with 9-in-1 binning), replacing the sensor at 50MP of the previous model (2,8 μm pixels with binning), while now the OIS, which even had its basic version My 11.
However, the biggest downside to the camera is that the Mi 5 Pro's 11x percussion camera is no longer available, and the ultra-wide-angle camera has been downgraded with a sensor on 8MP with a narrower lens 120 º (versus 13MP 123º in the Mi 11 Pro). As a consolation the device has one Tele-Macro camera at 5MP.
The wired charging system in the 11T Pro surpasses that of the Mi 11 Pro with almost twice the power, as it supports the HyperCharge at 120W by Xiaomi and is powered by a battery in 5.000 mAh. The full charge only takes a while 17 minutes, while the Mi 11 Pro takes 36 minutes.
With the new powerful wired charge, you do not even need to do a full charge to spend the whole day, as charging from 0-72% lasts only 10 minutes and is enough to have up to 7 hours of video playback, 5 hours of navigation or 2 hours of 1080p video recording.
Xiaomi advertises that the battery will keep it 80% of capacity of after 800 full charge cycles, ie a little more than 2 years of daily charging. Even better, the charger at 120W included in its package, while in the Mi 11 Pro in the package there was only the cable. However, the new Xiaomi 11T Pro does not have wireless charging support.
Some other details have changed, such as the fingerprint reader moved to the side, and now the device is IP53 certified for resistance to dust and water droplets, not IP68 which has it We 11 Pro.
The Xiaomi 11t pro will be available in three Colors Black, Blue and White, starting from 650€ for the basic configuration with 8GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 128GB storage space (UFS 3.1). Then we have the value in 700 € to select with 8 / 256GB and 750 € for the model with 12 / 256GB.

The Xiaomi 11t is almost similar to the Pro version, it has the same AMOLED screen 6,67 ”120Hz and seemingly identical rear camera 108MP + 8MP + 5MP. Where it differs is in the chipset that is being replaced by Dimensity 1200-Ultra chipset at 6nm of Mediatek.
Compared to My 11, has a smaller screen (6,67 ”vs. 6,81”), has a lower resolution (1080p + vs. 1440p +). As with the Pro, this is a 120 Hz panel with a 480 Hz touch sampling rate. The cameras are mostly the same, except for the missing OIS on the main 108 MP camera, while the sensor has been replaced with 8 MP (instead of 13 MP).
The Model T gets a bigger battery, 5.000mAh (from 4.600mAh to Mi 11) and slightly faster charging at 67W (from 55W). It is fast enough for most of your needs, as it achieves a full charge in just 36 minutes, and this is essentially the same as We 11 Pro, except that wireless charging is nowhere to be found.
The Xiaomi 11t is not so much an upgrade, but a more affordable alternative. As mentioned above, the Mi 11 starts at 750 € for the version with 8 / 128 GB, while the Xiaomi 11T with the same memory capacity will cost you in 500 € (33% cheaper than the Mi 11), and if you need more storage (256 GB), its price goes up to 550 €.

Xiaomi announced that the 11T and 11T Pro they will receive 3 upgrades to Android and 4 years of security repairs, which is about the same as what other top Android Smartphone manufacturers offer for their flagships.
