And somewhere here comes the idea of using a PowerBank that utilizes solar energy. This technology has been around for quite some time, but the Xiaomi just announced a new PowerBank that made it available through the Youpin platform. The new YEUX solar mobile power bank is suitable to cover all scenarios of outdoor use, such as cycling, mountaineering and camping, and costs 349 yuan (~ 49 $ / 44 €).
YEUX solar mobile power bank uses solar panels of high sensitivity and high energy conversion, which are made of monocrystalline silicon. The conversion rate of solar energy is much improved compared to traditional solar panels. It can also be recharged even on rainy days. In fact, this charging panel can be hung for charging even in a backpack while you are moving.
This charging panel adopts solar chip technology to automatically detect the intensity of sunlight to achieve optimal load efficiency and has an LED that shows the charging status (green light indicates ideal light conditions, yellow light indicates average and red light indicates weaker sunlight).
The solar charger has a built-in 6400 mAh polymer lithium battery that keeps it recharged when there is no electricity. However, when there is a power source, the battery can be recharged directly from an external power supply.
It has three charging ports, two USB-A with a maximum output of 5V / 3A each and a USB Type-C with a maximum output of 5V / 3A, which can charge mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, other power banks and other devices . This new PowerBank is made with a special Oxford fabric with high light transmission and aging resistance. The lining has a PU coating that ensures it will be waterproof and will not smell over time.
