IDC recently released its market performance report on Xiaomi Wearables (mobile devices) from 2014 to 2019.
ΣAccording to the report, Xiaomi's total total shipments of mobile devices exceed 100 million units. Last month, the IDC has released its Global Market Report for 2019, and Xiaomi has become the second largest Smart Band manufacturer in the world.
In addition, the company is the largest Smart Band manufacturer in China. Globally, Xiaomi is second only to Apple,, surpassing them Samsung, Huawei and Fitbit.
Xiami conquers the Wearables market
Xiaomi is quite strong in the Wearables sector, and in 2019, Xiaomi shipments reached 41,7 million units. It has a market share of 12,4%, which represents an increase of 78,8% on an annual basis.
According to Xiaomi annual financial report for the year 2019, on December 31, 2019 the number of active devices on the Xiaomi IoT platform reached 235 million (excluding Smartphones and laptops). This is an increase of 55,6% from year to year. The number of users with five or more Xiaomi IoT products is at 4,1 million, recording an annual increase of 77,3%.
In addition, there are speculations that the company will release the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 on April 3. Xiaomi will release around 22 new devices on April 3, but there is no specific mention of the Mi Band 5.
