Xiaomi Mi TV: Holds 39% of the market share in India.

Η Xiaomi Mi TV continues to be the number one in sales in India and China, and recently, the company announced that it managed to sell two million units within just 14 month in India.

Σaccording to  IDC, the Q1 of 2019, the market share for Xiaomi Smart TV in India is 39%. LG, Sony and Samsung are in second, third and fourth place respectively. In addition, their market shares are 15%, 14% and 12% respectively.

To understand Xiaomi's success, LG - Sony and Samsung together account for 41% of the market share, while Xiaomi alone holds 39%.

Xiaomi's performance in the Indian market is incredible and the company has seen crazy results in a short period of time, and this is due to three main reasons.

  • Partner with India's largest video vendor.
  • Her experience for the Indian market stands out
  • Its price is very competitive.

At the same time, the high quality and low repair rate of the Mi TV have also been tested by the markets, giving it an additional edge over the competition. According to the company, the 32-inch Mi TV, for example, has a repair rate of just 0,64%, while the industry average of repairs is 2,6%. The same percentages exist in as many markets as Xiaomi Mi TV has been released, such as in Russia for example.
