MIUI 11: Xiaomi is testing a new feature that will enhance the protection of personal data

To improve the security of all our important personal data, the Xiaomi trying a new one security feature in MIUI 11.

ΤSmartphones have become an increasingly integral part of modern life, and in addition to the various essential functions it serves, a smartphone also contains personal data important to a user.

Xiaomi is currently testing a completely new security feature to warn the user when a particular application is using sensitive permissions, and is being tested in closed Beta versions of MIUI 11 by a team of Beta Testers.

This new feature is called App Behavior Records - "Application behavior records”And records the rights that an application uses or opens a different application in the background.

According to official statements, the above actions lead to some "sensitive actions" such as:

• Record audio in the background
• Access calendar events
• Access to call history
• They make a phone call
• They take photos or record videos
• Access or save items to the clipboard
• Access to contacts
• Access to your site
• Read text messages
• Access to sensor data
• Access to activity information
• Access device information
• Read your phone number
• Access or save files in the background

The whole process starts when an application after launching simultaneously starts a chain of other applications and uses sensitive permissions to perform the above actions.

At the moment, users have the ability to receive such notifications and can still choose to cancel them. This new feature is very useful, and will help enhance the security and protection of personal data, but unfortunately it is still being tested and will not be readily available for any of the official MIUI 11 distributions.
