Her latest teaser Xiaomi states that the coming 5G Smartphone will be made of new high quality materials. And while the poster does not mention the device, we do know that it will be I MIX Alpha.
Η poster presents three materials: Ti (Titanium), SiO2 (Silica), and Al2O3 (Alumina). All three of these materials are well known in the construction of Smartphones, as titanium is used to make the frame of telephones.
For example, Essential PH-1 has a titanium frame. THE Silica, on the other hand, is a key ingredient used in the traditional glass industry and alumina used to make hard glass. We believe the new Mi Mix Alpha will use all three of these materials.
The caption on the poster states that Xiaomi has always researched the use of new materials and original design for its Smartphones, and cites some examples such as My 4, which has a stainless steel frame, the Mi Note, which has 3D Curved glass, the My 5 with its ceramic back and the Mi MIX 2 which is all ceramic.
As is well known, the I MIX Alpha and Mi 9 Pro 5G will be presented on September 24 along with Mi TV Pro.
