Η Xiaomi marked a huge milestone for itself as the company announced that has sold 1 billion Redmi smartphones to date
It took Xiaomi 10 years to make this sales record, as the first Smartphone under the Brand Name of Redmi, first released the 2013.
This announcement was made today by William Lu (the partner Chairman of the Xiaomi Group), and was also reposted by the company's CEO, Lei Jun, via X's platform (known as Twitter).
Most "Redmi" Smartphones usually belong to the budget and mid-range segment, although some of them come close in terms of specifications and performance to the corresponding Xiaomi flagships.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro +, for example, not only is it equipped with one display panel at 120Hz certified for water and dust resistance, but also features up to 16 GB of RAM, and powered by the very capable MediaTek's Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC at 4nm.
This device also features main camera at 200MP and is powered by a large battery that supports it wired charging at 120W which offers a full charge in less than 20 minutes, which is above and beyond almost any other flagship on the market.
So as you understand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro + it can stand comfortably next to any flagship, and one can hardly imagine that it is a device that belongs to the middle class.
