The line Redmi K20 was released yesterday in China, but in terms of their release in Europe and on other Continents, the information we receive is contradictory, and creates more confusion.
Εwhile some stated that the K20 Pro will be released as the POCO F2, some others claimed that the K20 and K20 PRO will keep their names even outside of China.
Another source stated that will be released as Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro in some parts of Europe.
As you understand all of the above they only offer confusion and nothing more.
A while ago, however, a new teaser appeared from Xiaomi that confirms the name Mi 9T but refutes the rumor that these devices will be renamed the Redmi K20 / Redmi K20 Pro.
The teaser shared by Xiaomi on the official Twitter page shows a phone with a similar design to today's Mi 9. The cameras are on the left side of the phone and not in the center as in the Redmi K20. However, it does not have a notch on its screen for the Selfie camera facing forward.
K, I or T ... What letter would you choose for the newest member of our Mi9 family? why? #PopUpInStyle pic.twitter.com/Ks5xokWrUG

The caption says "K, I or T… Which letter would you choose for the youngest member of the Mi9 family and why?“. There is a "T" between the sentences, but we already know that has a Smartphone called Mi 9T certified in many countries, so it is safe to conclude that the device in the teaser is indeed the Mi 9T.
The hashtag #PopUpInStyle also implies that the phone will have a pop-up selfie camera just like the Redmi K20 series. However, we firmly believe that the pop-up Selfie camera will be moved to the center of the device and not as it is now in the Redmi K20 series.
Considering that the Mi 9T is practically a Mi 9 with a new screen and a pop-up selfie, its specifications will be very similar if they are not similar to those of the Mi 9. Thus, it is expected to have a smaller battery capacity than the Redmi K20, to have wireless charging, but not to have 3.5 ″ port for headphones.
As soon as we find out more we will let you know, and apparently Xiaomi has driven us crazy with the many devices it offers us, making the selection process very difficult.
