Η Xiaomi has greatly raised the bar with its marketing campaign Redmi Note 7 after the cell phone has already gone through forty waves. Using the Redmi Note 7 they broke watermelons, walnuts, maybe they forged and nothing swords without us knowing it.
However, Xiaomi has just released a new campaign in which it wants to prove that this budget smartphone is "unreal" good. This time, however, he did not use it as a hammer, but sent three devices into space.
Today the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, posted a video showing the process it took the company to send the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 into space. To achieve this a team was created which designed a custom rig that can reach up to 30 km above the atmosphere and withstand temperatures down to -60 ° C.

With the help of a 3D printer, the team created a frame designed to protect the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 from high altitude and extreme conditions. Balloons filled with 8,5 thousand liters of hydrogen gas were used. In addition, dual tracking systems were needed for the team to know the location of the cargo permanently.
The biggest challenge was the low temperatures and whether the devices would survive the difficult conditions prevailing at altitude. Aside from the stunning photos taken of the space Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 thanks to its dual 48MP rear camera, it also returned to Earth in excellent condition and fully functional.
