Xiaomi Redmi Note 7: Exceeded 20 million units in worldwide sales

Xiaomi has sold over 20 million units of the series Redmi Note 7 worldwide. The company will start its successor - the Redmi Notes 8 - in India on October 9.

Η Xiaomi has sold over 20 million units of the series Redmi Note 7 worldwide. Last May, Xiaomi confirmed that it had sold over 10 million units of the Redmi Note 7 series.

Manu Kumar Jain, MD of Xiaomi India, has officially revealed that the company has sold 20 million units of the Redmi Note 7 series worldwide. In India alone, Xiaomi claims to have sold over 5 million units of the series.

The Redmi Note 7 range consists of Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro. On October 9, Xiaomi plans to release the new Redmi Note 8 series in the country. Prior to this launch, the company revised down the price of the Redmi Note 7 series in India, with the Redmi Note 7S available from € 115, while the Redmi Note 7 Pro on the other hand, is available from € 141.

The new prices make Xiaomi's already extremely smart phones even more attractive to those looking for mid-range smartphones.
