Η update is currently only available for the Chinese Stable MIUI ROM, and is expected to be released in its Global version for other countries in the coming days. The software update with Android Pie has a version number MIUI 10.3.1.0.
So the RedMi Note 5 / PRO is finally getting an upgrade to Android Pie, about 10 months after its release.

- Support for unlocking applications through Face (Unlock), corrects the timer and other problems related to the Clock application.
- The "Album" application now allows you to add a watermark when editing your photos, but also to choose from a range of watermark styles.
- The Weather app has received new weather-related animations as well as screen density corrections.
- The update optimizes the settings page for the system application.
- Last but not least, the new firmware brings the ability to speed up games through Game Turbo.
