RedMi K30 4G: These seem to be its features according to TENAA

Today they appeared in the certification body Tena, the full set of specifications for two devices.

ΤThe spotlight has now fallen on Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi K30, and as the day of its official presentation approaches, we are constantly seeing various leaks and rumors about the devices of the new series coming to the fore.

We recently saw some teasers shared by the company from the RedMi K30, mainly from the 5G version, and today they appeared on the TENAA certification body, the complete set of specifications for two devices.

So, two new Smartphones with model numbers M1912G7BC and M1912G7BE were identified on this certification platform. These model numbers are believed to belong to the 4G variant of the Redmi K30.

Redmi K30 4G - specifications

According to the list, the phone measures 165,3 × 76,6 × 8,81 mm in dimensions and weighs 208 grams. It has a 6,67-inch screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400, while the battery capacity is at 4.400mAh - as opposed to the 4.500mAh we heard in another leak (although this may be the difference between minimum and standard capacity). The RedMi K30 4G is also expected to have wired charging at 30W.

The registration in TENAA indicates that the device will come in three RAM variants: 8GB, 6GB and 12GB, while storage options will include respectively: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Redmi K30 5G will be powered by the new 765G-supported Snapdragon 5G SoC. So the version of the Redmi K30 4G should be powered by a completely different SoC. According to the list in TENAA, the CPU clock speed is set to 2,2GHz.

The operating system is referred to as Android 10, meaning it will have the Miui 11 based on Android 10.

While most of these specifications appear to be correct, the camera specifications listed are different from those we have seen before.

The TENAA list states that there will be a total of four cameras on the phone, including 64MP and 20MP sensors. As you will recall, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi K30 5G will host a total of six cameras. But this could be a mistake of TENAA, because anyway from the photos we see that the device has a total of 6 cameras (4 rear + 2 Selfie)

Xiaomi has also confirmed in a post on Weibo that the 64MP sensor on the Redmi K30 5G will be the new Sony IMX686. So it is possible that this variant of the RedMi K30 4G has the same sensor.

It makes sense for Xiaomi to differentiate the specifications between the RedMi K30 5G and 4G, giving more weight to the 5G model, but we will have to wait until the official presentation of the devices on December 10, to find out all the features of the devices.
