Redmi Go: Ready to present and distribute?

Xiaomi is preparing to launch a low cost device in India and the Philippines very soon, called Redmi Go.

ΤThe Redmi Go is equipped with the Android Go system and the Snapdragon 425 chipset.

The Redmi Go smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset at 1.4GHz, and with Adreno 308 GPU, while it will have an LCD screen 5.0 "(16: 9)  with 72% NTSC color resolution and 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution.

The Snapdragon 425 is the benchmark for mid-range smartphones and tablets. With 64-bit Cortex A53 processors and a dual 16MP ISP, the Snapdragon 425 offers a smooth user experience, smooth graphics and remarkable camera quality.

In terms of photography, the Redmi Go will pack an 8MP rear camera (f / 2.0 Aperture) with HDR and LED flash. On the front, it will have a 5MP camera (f / 2,2 Aperture) with a 1,12 micron pixel. So you can take some decent selfies.

Will come in storage variants 1 + 8GB, which and can be expanded up to 128GB, while the battery of the device will have a capacity 3000mAh, and will be included with 5V / 1A charger.

In terms of user interface, Xiaomi will offer you the Android GO system for the first time (Android 8.0). The device will support all the basic sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass etc.

The Android Go system is specially designed for low-entry-level smartphones, and includes several of the basic Google applications (Gapps), but in a more lite version, to offer a smooth user experience.

In terms of design, the Redmi Go uses polycarbonate plastic on the back, and weighs only 137g.
The dimensions of the device are 140,4 x 70,1 x 8,35 mm and it comes in blue and black.

From what can be seen from the information so far, the device is ready to make its debut in the Philippines, and everything is ready for the official presentation - release and distribution of the device.

We do not know exactly when, and if we will soon have the device available in Europe, from the official distribution network of Xiaomi, but this is obviously something we will know immediately after the official presentation and release of the device.
