XDA Developers confirms that Xiaomi is preparing a new Smartphone with 64MP camera.

A few days ago we reported that the Xiaomi through the redmi, is working on a new flagship with a 64MP camera from Samsung, and today XDA Developers confirms it.

Η  report for a function 64 MP “ultra-pixel” was detected in the MIUI Camera application by the XDA member kackskrz in the last MIUI 10 (version 9.6.17) China Developer ROM for Redmi K20 Pro.

At the moment, Samsung 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 is the only sensor with 64MP resolution available on the market.

Like the 48MP sensors, so is the new 64MP sensor from Samsung, will use technology Tetracell, to merge four pixels into one, thus reproducing photos in 16MP, so that in low light conditions and using the algorithm remosaic, to have better quality and brightness, but also less noise.

We do not know yet if this will be a completely new device or will be added to any of the devices in the series Redmi K20.
