The application by name Quick Apps, has been excluded from Google Play Protect due to possible monitoring problems.
ΌAs is the case with most manufacturers, Xiaomi Smartphones come with many customizations to the system UI, as well as several pre-installed applications that contain ads that no one has requested.
In fact, this is an indirect way in which Xiaomi is usually able to keep its prices low in relation to its competitors. However, some of the applications it has installed by name Quick Apps, has been blocked by Google Play Protect due to possible tracking issues.
Some users have reported that a Play Protect pop-up window has appeared, telling them that Quick Apps have been blocked because "This app may collect data that could be used to track you".
Why the quick apps is blocked by the play protect?

Although the app was never made available on the Play Store and is only available on the Xiaomi platform, Play Protect still scans all apps installed on any Smartphone equipped with Play services for malware, even if this application is not available from the Google Play Store.
It's unclear exactly why Xiaomi Quick Apps has been labeled as a data tracker just now, as it has been around for many years and has extensive access to more than 55 licenses that allow it to collect data such as: IMEI numbers, SIM numbers, data user, and can record audio and video. Stores any information it temporarily collects on the Smartphone and uploads it later online to Servers.
From the data collected, it appears that Xiaomi is using this data to drive targeted ads to users that appear on the lock screen, news widget, browser ads, and other system applications.
The application was able to coexist with Play Protect scans for a long time without any problems, so it is possible that an update has added or changed something about the data collection, which eventually caused the automated protection against Google malware.
So far, it looks like Quick Apps is still locked, and Xiaomi will likely need to make some code changes to slow down Play Protect, and allow it to run again.
