A new patent from Xiaomi recently appeared on the internet.
ΑThis patent reveals 3 different designs for a new smartphone, which has a dual Selfie camera installation on the front of the device.
The patent leaked to us via Weibo, and reveals some designs with three different configurations for the dual Selfie cameras on the device screen. These two cameras will be mounted under holes in three different screen position alternatives. In the first design the cameras are placed in the middle of the screen, below the top bezel.
Both designs show the same selfie camera mounted in the upper left corner of the screen, however, in one of these designs the cameras are mounted vertically while the other is mounted horizontally.
The drawings show both cameras connected together, and other sensors such as the proximity sensor and ambient light sensor may be located in this area.
On the back of the device, we notice that there is a vertical triple camera device, which logically in addition to the main camera will also include a special zoom lens and a depth sensor. Below these cameras we see that there is also a fingerprint scanner.
Another important aspect of the design that can be seen in the above drawings, is the screen to body ratio, which does not seem to be relatively high. As one can easily notice, the bezels on all four sides of the device are quite visible, which may indicate that it may be a Xiaomi Smartphone that belongs to the middle price range.
The above patent has not been officially confirmed by the company, so we should have several reservations about its authenticity.
