Η Xiaomi continues to deliver its new fixed versions MIUI 11 which are based on Android 10 for many devices.
Πreleased the latest update of Android 10 for MIUI 11 on the Mi 8, yesterday for the Mi 8 SE and today on 4 other devices. The models that will get the upgrade are Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Mi MIX 3, and Mi 9 SE. The upgrade is already available in China and we expect it to be available in all markets within 2-3 days.
The company has already completed the availability of MIUI 11 on all 27 supported devices it had planned. What the company did not do was give a schedule for the Android 10 upgrade with its customers constantly asking in its forums.
As Xiaomi was the first after Google to release Android 10 (on the Redmi K20 / K20 Pro) we expected faster upgrades. It did not go badly given the competition but not to such an extent that it attracts someone who wants the latest features of Google's operating system.
Since Xiaomi canceled MIUI Global Beta ROM last year, phones will get the latest update to the latest version of Android 10. The update offers enhanced Dark Mode, enhanced rights checks, quick replies to messaging apps, new gesture navigation and more . Holders of the aforementioned phones can check for updates in Settings in the Phone Info section.
We should inform you that our community has already delivered the first Greek (XTRV) Stable ROMs for MIUI 11, many of which are based on Android 10, and have as source the ROMs from xiaomi.eu.
