The Mix Flip has been certified in China by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and it is disclosed that it will have support for satellite connectivity
In September last year we first heard that Xiaomi was working on a foldable Smartphone with flip style to complete the series Mix fold in her portfolio.
This Smartphone was to be named Xiaomi Mix Flip and was rumored to be released in China alongside the Mix Fold 4 sometime later this year.
As a result, becoming a videomaker's mission is to bring all people closer to the world of video. Today, Mix Flip has already been certified in China by the Ministry of Industry and Informatics, and our certification reveals a surprising fact : the Mix Flip will have support for satellite connectivity.
The fact that the certification page also reveals that the device is going to "run" Android and will have support for 5G networks is not surprising to us.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip is rumored to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will feature a triple camera setup like the Find N3 Flip by Oppo, with one telephoto lens with at least 3x optical zoom.
So far it is impossible to know if Xiaomi has in its immediate plans to make the device available on the global market, or if it will ultimately remain "imprisoned" at the borders of China.
