The MIUI of Xiaomi can be described as the most successful Android Custom ROM, as what sets it apart from other distributions, is the wealth of features it offers and its customizations.
ΤMIUI is updated twice a week, including the closed BETA every Tuesday and the public BETA every Friday.
This week, Xiaomi introduced a new customization of the lock screen clock, which allows users to choose its layout on the lock screen. Users can choose between its appearance in the center, with left alignment, but also vertical layout to match the style of wallpaper you have chosen, but these adjustments do not work in third party themes.
In addition to customizing the lock screen, Xiaomi has also added the option to stay on the lock screen after unlocking (using face unlock) after the face data is verified, instead of going directly to the Desktop after unlocking. This way you can now read on the Lock Screen all the notifications you received while the device was locked. Xiaomi has also introduced a new VoLTE icon which you can see in the screenshots above.
These features are now only available in MIUI Global Beta V9.5.9, and are expected to be available in Global Stable versions in future updates.
Xiaomi has already started the development of MIUI 11, and the CEO of the company has already confirmed that MIUI 11 will get rid of ads that negatively affect the user experience. MIUI 11 is also expected to bring many changes to the entire system, better autonomy, face unlock support for the lock and applications, Game turbo and other features.

That it will be available from now on only in Fixed ROMs, as Xiaomi apparently ended up supporting the device in weekly BETA ROM upgrades.
