ΣXiaomi's large portfolio of products, there are smartphones, tablets, laptops and various gadgets for home as well as for cars. So when it comes to cars, today Xiaomi has just introduced a new version of the Mijia car DVR, called Xiaomi Mijia Car DVR 1S (Starvis).
The new camera Mijia Car DVR 1S, is characterized by an aluminum body, inside which we find a wide-angle lens, and a 3,1-inch IPS screen. Compared to the old Mijia car DVR, the new 1S has been improved in both materials and screen quality.
However, Xiaomi's new dashcam continues to be assembled with a combination of high-strength adhesive and electrostatic paste. This procedure allows the use of the device during the summer, even in extreme temperatures, without facing any problems, both in its operation and in the alteration of its parts by the temperatures.

Inside, the DVR has been upgraded with a new Sony IMX307 image sensor, which can take shots even in the dark, accompanied by a 140 ° wide-angle lens and F / 1.8.
This combination, of course, provides more light, and gives less noise video than the previous version. According to Xiaomi, the new camera is able to read car license plates, and cover up to 3 lanes.
New Xiaomi Mijia Car DVR 1S (Starvis) is equipped with a SigmaStar video editing chip, which allows the dashcam to record high quality Full HD (1080p) H.264 video with very good detail and reduced noise, even at night.
On the software side, the Xiaomi Mijia Car DVR 1S (Starvis) has a function called parking function. In this mode, when the dashcam is off, it goes into standby mode, and automatically records as soon as motion is detected by the gravity sensor. So if something happens to your car while it is parked, and someone hits it or shakes it slightly, you will be able to see exactly what happened from the video they wrote while you were away.
It obviously also has WiFi, which allows you to connect the camera to the Mijia app, where you can view the videos and photos you have taken. The camera also accepts voice commands, but is only available in Chinese.
The Xiaomi Mijia Car DVR 1S is now available in the Chinese market at 349 yuan or about 44 euros.
