Recently, several Xiaomi executives hinted at the launch of one 8 inch tablet on Weibo. This is the first time we are hearing about such a product from the company.
So the device is probably in the development phase, if it actually exists. It should appear in its codebase HyperOS when the firmware build is ready.
And once Xiaomi deems it ready for the market, the product will have to be certified by regulatory agencies. That's when we might learn more about this tablet.
For now, all we can say is that Xiaomi is just thinking about releasing one mini tablet, and all we can do is wait for the plan to materialize.
