This morning, the Xiaomi released the second router (Router) with support in 6 WiFi, My AX1800 router.
ΑThis new router is priced at 329 yuan ($ 46 / € 42), with sales starting on Friday, May 15, but those who pre-order the device will be able to get it at a reduced price of 299 yuan ($ 42 / € 38).
Ο My AX1800 router adopts original design in the form of a cube with the name Cool Black Magic Cube. The device has two hidden antennas that can achieve signal coverage 360 degrees, and to keep the device cool and stable in operation, Xiaomi has designed an internal tower cooling structure. It also has large air ducts and a large metal heatsink for proper heat dissipation.
In terms of its features, the AX1800 uses a chip QQcom IPQ6000m with 5-core (4-core A53 1.2GHz + independent NPU) and is accompanied by 256MB RAM, 128MB ROM, 1 gigabit WAN port and 3 gigabit LAN port.
In terms of speed and signal quality, the device is equipped with two independent high-performance signal amplifiers (Qorvo) for frequencies 2,4GHz & 5GHz. This arrangement improves the coverage by 50% and increases the signal strength by 4dB.
All the above specifications of the Router, help it to achieve parallel wireless speed up to 1775Mbps, and you can download an HD movie in just 8 seconds. This is an improvement of 52% compared to the router AC1200.

Ο My AX1800 router Xiaomi also supports signal modulation technology OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access), which allows the router to send data to multiple devices simultaneously with a single transmission. Additionally, the other advanced features it supports include: grid networking, free access to the Mijia APP application, the ability to permanently connect up to 128 devices simultaneously, and free 3 months of the Tencent Accelerator application built into the Router etc.

Xiaomi routers are nice, but the only negative is that the company after the perfect 3g stopped installing a USB port in its products.
