New patent from Xiaomi became known today, which displays the My Mix Fold (foldable Smartphone).
ΚOver the past year, there has been a lot of talk about its first foldable smartphone Xiaomian, which was presented in an official video with a panel that can be folded on both sides.
From then until today, the company has not released it, but instead presented it to us I MIX Alpha, characterized by a screen that surrounds the entire body of the device.
But what happened to the company's foldable Smartphone?
The answer might be in this new patent, which shows us another mysterious Xiaomi smartphone called My MIX Fold.
Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold: with Huawei Mate X design
Over the past few months we have seen various Xiaomi patents appear, relating to foldable Smartphones with Quad camera, with clamshell design, with expandable screen and everything seemed to be beautiful.
Of course, all the above diplomas do not seem to have found any practical application so far, but as it turns out, maybe this will change soon, and finally the company has come up with a safer design, which in fact seems to have a lot in common with the Huawei Mate X.
In fact, this new patent that was found in the service CNIPA of China, seems to belong to Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold.
As can be clearly seen from the drawings, Xiaomi's first foldable Smartphone may finally have a design inspired by Huawei Mate X, while maintaining various of its own characteristics.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold will have a center axis (flap) that will allow you to fold the screen outwards. In addition, it will be a panel with curved edges, and will house a dual camera unit on the left of the screen, without it being clear whether the cameras will be in a hole - on a special Module - or below the screen.
The patent document does not specify the device, but it will probably be equipped with the Snapdragon 865.
Of course, all this, as you understood, is speculation and we do not have any official confirmation from her Xiaomi. Let's not forget that many of these patents often tend to never go into production, so to officially confirm all of the above, we will have to wait for the answer from Xiaomi itself!
