Today, new Render for a smartphone of the series appeared We MIX of Xiaomi, only this time the device is simultaneously Foldable and folding (Rollable).
Τa Render of this futuristic device was posted on Weibo from an account called “Technology Circle".
There are many pictures that you can see in the collection below, and this idea may still be unrealistic, but it is really very interesting, as their creator envisions a device that combines dual functions - that is, it can be folded like a normal Foldable Smartphone, but can also be developed as one Rollable Smartphone, and as you can see in the pictures below, to achieve this, the device has a special joint in its back.
When the device is folded down it acquires a compact form and if you want the device to become even smaller, it can also be folded into an extremely narrow form. In its narrowest form, this Smartphone reminds us of Essential which has not been released, and looks a lot like a remote control.
The device is also provided to be equipped with one Selfie camera below screen (UTC). The bezels on the top and bottom of the screen are minimal, while the side bezels are non-existent. The phone screen actually wraps around on both sides, but can also be folded back.
There are several cameras on the back of the device which are vertically aligned. To be more precise, you will find a total of three such cameras on the back of this phone.
This is one of the most interesting designs we have seen so far, and it would be interesting to see something like this on the market, but it is unlikely, at least not in the near future.
The CEO and founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun , confirmed to us that a new Smartphone of the series will be released this year We MIX, but we still do not know if it is going to be named Mi MIX 4, and the design of this phone remains a mystery to this day.
Xiaomi has not released a folder yet either Rollable smartphones, so who knows, maybe the next device in its line We MIX to end up being folding. It is also very likely that Xiaomi will launch a whole new series for its foldable Smartphones.
