Mi Electric Scooter
The Mi Electric Scooter is essentially a renewal of the original model M365. Weighs 12,5 Kg. and its battery can provide autonomy up to 30 km. Uses a motor in 250 W (with Peak at 500 W), which gives it maximum speed at 25 km / h (note that this requires a rider up to 75 kg going at a speed of 15 km / h on a flat surface).
The Mi Electric Scooter has a screen that displays a numerical indication of speed along with several status icons showing e.g. the selected driving mode, while the original model had only four simple LED lights for battery charge status. This model also uses a more durable disc brake on the rear wheel, as in the Pro model.
My Electric Scooter Pro 2
The My Electric Scooter Pro 2 (second generation) does not change much from its predecessor. But it fixes some endurance issues, and comes with improved cooling, better battery management and better wiring. Both the 1S and the Pro 2 double the power of the projector to 2W.
The Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 weighs 14,2 Kg. and has a larger battery compared to other simple models like the 1S, which is capable of giving it autonomy up to 45 km. It is equipped with a power motor 300 W (with Peak at 600 W), while its final speed remains at 25 km / h (which is the upper limit allowed in many countries). However, its more powerful engine allows it to climb inclines up to 20% while 1S is limited to 14%. This is not only better when driving, but also has better braking (Brakes).
The Pro It also has an extra disc brake on the front wheel, while the 1S has only one (on the rear wheel), and is additionally equipped with the system E-ABS which uses the motor to charge the battery.
Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 1S starts from 400 €While My Electric Scooter Pro 2 is priced at 500 €.
Note: Scooters sold in Germany have a cutter on 20 km / h and the rear wing has space for a plate.
Xiaomi has announced an additional model that will excite Formula 1 fans - the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 Mercedes AMG-Petronas F1 Team edition, but more information on this model will be revealed at another date.
