Η Xiaomi started one battery replacement program for some of the old models of its Smartphones, which were released 4 years ago.

When this happens, replacing the battery is usually the only option but at the same time it is a difficult process and sometimes impossible. Replacing the battery requires a partial disassembly of the back of the device, but many times to access the battery you may need to disassemble various other parts of the device depending on the device, and as we do so the whole process is a challenge.
In fact, if you give your phone to a novice technician, it is almost certain that something can be damaged in the process.
Xiaomi has started a program to replace the battery for some of the old models of its Smartphones, which were released 4 years ago. The replacement will cost just 49 yuan (~ 7 $) and generally this price includes labor costs.
The battery replacement program covers 21 of its models Xiaomi and Redmi, which are listed below.

Xiaomi is known for the decent quality of its products which in fact have very friendly prices for your pocket. Therefore, it is common to see many users still have Xiaomi / Redmi Smartphones in operation after several years of use.
With battery replacement programs like the one started by Xiaomi, many users may start using their good old Mi / Redmi Smartphone again, even as a backup, which has been left in the drawer due to a depleted battery. We hope that Xiaomi will soon launch these programs in markets outside China, and see it implemented in Europe and in our country, maintaining prices similar to those that apply to China.
