Xiaomi presented the Game Turbo on POCO F1 a few weeks ago, improving performance at Gaming, making a smart allocation of system resources for CPU and GPU, giving priority to the management of resources for games.
Τtime, with the latest MIUI Global Beta update, Xiaomi introduces a special Game Turbo application as a system application, and Game Turbo can be accessed directly from the phone's desktop, through an icon with yellow colors that match the theme POCO.
Games for which Game Turbo is enabled are listed on the app's home page, making it easy for users to find games installed on the device. These games are displayed as cards on the home page, and users can start a game by simply clicking on the card thumbnail, users can also select a list view instead of the cards.
Xiaomi also changed the color of the icon from yellow to blue to maintain a uniform color appearance. Users can clear the memory, take a screenshot and start recording on the screen without leaving the game they are playing. Users can also turn Wi-Fi, mobile data, auto brightness and DND on / off in-game. Apart from these, users can also open applications such as WhatsApp and File Manager without leaving the game, but in our opinion, this can distract them from the game.
The application menu has also been upgraded with new looks and features.
Xiaomi had integrated the Game Turbo in some redmi devices, including the RedMi Note 5 Pro, but the Greek community has also delivered to many additional devices the application in the latest distribution of Greek XTRV ROMs (9.4.11 / 12). Xiaomi has also added the Chrome browser to the list of apps that can be opened through Game Turbo, in the latest update.
Game Turbo is currently only available on Global Beta ROMs, but is expected to be released soon on Global Stable ROMs with future updates.
