Η Xiaomi registered a new patent for foldable device, which is quite similar to the original Galaxy fold but uses pop-up selfies.
Η resemblance to its foldable Samsung not only in the way the screen closes as it folds inwards, but also on the external screen of the device.
Specifically, we see that Xiaomi's foldable has fairly small external screenwith large bezel on the sides and even bigger at the top and bottom. But inside we see that the screen offers a satisfying viewing experience, with no hole or notch spoiling the experience.
This is because Xiaomi seems to be considering integrating pop-up selfies on its device, which can be used by both screens. We also see that the mechanism accommodates two sensors.
On the other hand, since the selfie fits in a pop-up mechanism, why have such big bezels?
