Xiaomi has filed a new patent for one collapsible smartphone which this time is type clam shell, similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Motorcycle Razr 5G.
ΑThis new patent was recently filed in WIPO and as shown in the following sketches published by 91mobiles, we are dealing with a Smartphone that folds in the center, in a similar way to one clamshell smartphone.
The special feature of this device is the existence of one horizontal Module on the back, which houses the two large camera sensors and a small secondary screen.
This second small screen will be very useful for displaying various information and notification icons as in My 11 Ultra, and the owners of the device will be able to use the much better sensors of the rear camera to take their selfie photos, which of course will be of better quality than the front Selfie camera that will be on the front screen.
The device can be folded in half, like a laptop. On the right side of the device there are the volume keys and the power button, while at the bottom, we see the speaker grille, the USB Type-C port and the SIM card tray, but there is no headphone jack (3,5 mm).
On the front of the device and at the top left of the screen, there is a pill-shaped hole, under which the Dual Selfie Camera or a Selfie camera and an LED flash.
The leaked sketches show a device with a subtle design, and this at the same time indicates that there will be a significant reduction in battery capacity.
Of course this is just a patent, and we do not know anything so far about the other specifications of the device, and there is no certainty as to whether it will eventually be available on the market.
