Έto by members of their community XDA Developers, discovered today that the Xiaomi is working on a new foldable Smartphone. Specifically in the code of the latest Chinese MIUI beta ROM 12, references were found on a device codenamed “CetusAlong with a number of reports that this device will be foldable.

But we could not find out more about this device, except for some other reports that suggest that the Cetus will feature a Snapdragon processor and a main camera on 108MP like the My Notes 10.
As for the code name, the Cetus is the Latin form of the term that the ancient Greeks used to describe sea monsters in their mythology. The Latin term of the name is translated respectively as whale or whale, and this may indicate that this device will be large.
