The collaboration was announced at the ongoing Xiaomi AIOT Developers Conference in Beijing, according to a Twitter post by Donavan Sung, Xiaomi's global representative and product management director.
"Going further, IKEA's line of smart lighting products will be connected to Xiaomi's IoT platform starting in December," Sung wrote in a Twitter post.
