Η Xiaomi announced through its official forum that it is currently working on improvements to the issues found in the Mi 8 and Poco F1. That Pocophone in particular has been plagued by a number of issues reminiscent of last year's Pixel 2 XL launch. The good thing about the constant communication of the company through the global fora is that the issues were immediately recognized and there is constant feedback from the owners.
According to the company, its staff is working on:
- The Asphalt 8 and 9 are not compatible in Google Play (Pocophone F1).
- A series of problems with Android Auto (Pocophone F1 and Mi 8).
- In the status bar, the application icons are not displayed in the notification section (Xiaomi Mi 8 and Pocophone F1).
- Problems on the touch screen (Pocophone F1).
- Widevine L1 to support Netflix in HD (Pocophone F1).
- Support 4K of 60 fps in rear cameras (Pocophone F1 and Mi 8).
- Various fixes in optimizing apps and games (Xiaomi Mi 8 and Pocophone F1).
They are also working with Gameloft, Android and PUBG Mobile to resolve any minor issues found as soon as possible. The company asked for a little patience from all Mi 8 owners and Pocophone F1.
