Today the company announced the Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo which according to the company reaches 30W wireless charging.
Μwith its release Xiaomi Mi 9 The company also provided the fastest wireless charging in the world which reaches 20w.
This is one of the most important announcements in the smartphone industry mainly because many are negative about wireless charging due to its reduced speed. With 30W, the Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo is even faster than the 27W wired charger that tends to become the base speed for companies' flagships.
The company claims that the Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo can wirelessly charge 50% of a 4.000mAh battery in 25 minutes and full charge is achieved in 69 minutes. If this is the case, all we have to do is leave our device on the wireless charging cradle for a few minutes and when we leave the house we will be sure that it will take it out until we return.
In addition, the Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo supports reverse wireless charging, and the company says it can charge smartwatches, headphones and even other smartphones. This technology can recharge 20% of the iPhone XS battery in 30 minutes, while at the same time the Huawei P30 Pro could recharge only 13% of the same device.
The company has already announced its 100W Super Charge Turbo wired technology, which will probably make its debut with a Redmi device. However, the manufacturer has confirmed that the Mi Charge Turbo will be available on the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G.
This particular smartphone has made the rounds of the internet several times mainly referred to as Mi 9S 5G. Apparently its official name is Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G and the company has confirmed the 4.000mAh battery that was revealed by TENAA.
So, Xiaomi's latest smartphone will support three different charging technologies: wired fast charging, wireless fast charging and reverse wireless fast charging.
