Xiaomi: The first Smartophones with fast charging at 200W are coming this year

Η Xiaomi as it has been revealed, it is already working on a new fast charging technology that will reach 200W, and may make its debut on a device later this year.

Εif you think fast charging on 125w presented by Oppo is the biggest reference point for the Smartphones that will be released in 2021, you are just wrong.

According to new data, these high charging speeds in 200w, will probably be all the power that both wired and wireless charging will provide together. In addition, this technology will be combined in devices that will be equipped with a battery in 5000mAh.

Unfortunately, the name of the device that will have the first charge at 200W is not yet known, but some rumors suggest that it will probably be a device that will belong to the series. Mi Mix or Mi 11T.

Currently, Xiaomi has released the My 11 with wired charging in 55w and wireless charging in 50w. Given that a battery in 5000mAh needed approximately 70 minutes to fully charge with a charger at 33w, in a system that will be able to support charging in 200w, full charge time will be reduced under 20 minutes.

But here, of course, many questions arise about the safety of the devices and the battery, because as you understand, at such high charging loads, high temperatures will develop in the battery, which implies for its safety but also for its lifespan. battery.

Wireless charging, even if it can theoretically have the same power as wired charging, will always take a little longer to complete a full charge due to the increased heat output.

Xiaomi is already using the 33W charge in its turn I 10T, and despite the lower output power, the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro can charge large batteries in 5000mAh in about an hour while fast charging at 55w which supports the My 11, promises to charge the device battery in just over half an hour.

Xiaomi, lately, has provided fast charging on 33w the majority of its premium devices. The turn of the new Redmi K40 recently released in China for example, uses charging on 33w, and this Smartphone is expected to be released soon in the global markets as its new series Poco F3, while pIndia the Redmi K40 is expected to be available by name Mi 11X, aiming in the flagship category.

Even his new series Notes redmi 10 Pro Recently released, it has a fast charge of 33W, and the same goes for the Mi 10i that was released earlier this year, as well as the Mi 10T.

200W ???? At how many volts? It will probably be at least 40V to be able to work with 5A cables.
