Xiaomi 14 Ultra: It has become official in China with LTPO AMOLED screen 6.73″ 2K 120Hz, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Quad rear cameras at 50MP!

Xiaomi has just announced its flagship smartphone Xiaomi 14Ultra at an event held today in China


The phone has C8 LTPO OLED 6,78 inch screen analysis 2K, jointly developed by Xiaomi and CSOT, with maximum brightness at 3000 nits, variable refresh rate 1-120Hz, while also supporting the HDR10 + and Dolby Vision. The device's incredibly high-quality display also offers dimming PWM at 1920Hz.

The Xiaomi 14Ultra is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, save up to 1TB UFS 4.0 and has a new dual circuit & cold pump cooling system with a total area of 4000mm², which has a circular vapor-liquid separation design that, according to the company, promises up to 3 times better performance than the one that has a traditional VC cooling system.

The device provides support for two-way satellite communications, while in terms of cameras, the phone has one quad camera system on the back, with the main camera equipped with the large 1″ sensor (Sony LYT-900) at 50MP which comes with a lens it has variable aperture f/1.63 ~ f/4 1024 steps, for excellent background blur to capture every detail clearly.

It also has a second one Ultrawide camera at 50MP, one 50MP telephoto camera with optical zoom 3.2 times and a camera with periscopic telephoto lens at 50MP with optical zoom 5x, and of course all the device's cameras are equipped with Leica Summilux lenses.

 

The phone has metal Unibody frame with a new architecture Xiaomi Dragon Armor which uses high strength aluminum alloy frame and ceramic glass. The company claims that the bending resistance in the frame of the device is v 8% higher from that which provides its titanium frame iPhone, while the resistance of the glass to falls is vs 10 times higher. Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with AAC SLA1010 X-axis linear motor for the vibration and has IP68 Rating certification for dust and water resistance.

It is powered by one battery at 5300mAh and supports the wired charging at 90W, which can charge up to 100% of the battery in just 34 minutes, the wireless charging at 80W to charge to 100% in 49 minutes and the reverse wireless charging at 10W. To protect the battery from charging and the correct load distribution, the device is equipped with Xiaomi Surge P2 chipset (for charge management) and the Xiaomi Surge G1 (for battery charge management).

In addition to the regular version of the device, there is also the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Metal Special Edition which has an aerospace grade titanium alloy body and high strength aluminum alloy materials. The construction of this frame is done through metal powder injection, so that the middle frame is “one-piece”, which not only has a slim appearance, but also has excellent resistance to internal pressure, as stated by the company.

The Xiaomi 14Ultra available in colors Dragon Crystal Blue (with Ceramic Back), Black and White (with Vegan Leather Back) and costs 6499 yuan (~ USD 903 / EUR 835) for the version with 12GB + 256GB, the version with 16 GB + 512 GB costs 6999 yuan (~ USD 973 / EUR 899) and the version with 16GB + 1TB costs 7799 yuan (~ USD 1084 / EUR 1002). The device will be available in China from 27 February.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Metal Special Edition with 16GB + 1TB and satellite communication costs 8,799 yuan (~ USD 1223 / EUR 1130) and will be available in China from 12 March.
