Xiaomi 14 Ultra & Civi 4 : Receive new certifications and are expected to be released soon

Xiaomi is reportedly working on several new devices including Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Mix Flip, Pad 7 series, Mix Fold 4 and Civi 4


It is very likely that all these devices might be revealed in the first half of 2024. In fact, a recent leak reveals to us that the global versions of Civi 4 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra already received Flicker-Free certified by TÜV Rheinland, indicating a possible imminent release of these devices.


Xiaomi 14Ultra


Recent reports revealed that the model numbers 24030PN60G and 24030PN60C correspond to its global and Chinese variants Xiaomi 14Ultra respectively. The above screeshot shows that the global version of the device has already received Flicker-Free certified by TUV Rhineland, but unfortunately, some additional information about the device's specifications is not available.

However, this certification boosts the possibility that the device will hit the global market soon. Rumors suggest that its Chinese variant Xiaomi 14Ultra it may be released by the end of this month, while the global launch of the device may follow a few weeks later.


Xiaomi Mi 4


In August 2023, a new Xiaomi device with model number 23041PN0DC appeared in the database IMEI. Although the listing didn't reveal the name of the device, everything indicates that it could be the Xiaomi Mi 4.

Like its predecessors, the Civi 4 is expected to remain exclusively available in the Chinese market. The screenshot we see above confirms its appearance Civil 4 in its database TUV Rhienland.

According to various information circulating on the internet, the Civil 4 can be equipped with the Dimensity 8300-Ultra from Mediatek, but unfortunately, some additional information about the rest of the device's specifications is currently unavailable. The model number indicates a possible release during 1st quarter of 2024.

The certification Flicker Free by TÜV Rhienland means that it has tested these devices to assess whether their display creates visible or invisible flicker, which could strain the user's eyes. The tests, based on international industry standards, establish minimum calls across the entire frequency range.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 has already been subjected to laboratory tests by and TÜV Rhineland and the certification it received as “Flicker Free” confirms that the device meets these standards by ensuring that there is no visible or invisible flicker within the range 0 - 3000 Hz at different brightness settings.
