With the Xiaomi 14, at today's event in China, Xiaomi also unveiled its flagship smartphone Xiaomi 14 Pro
The device is available OLED LTPO C8 6,78 inch screen analysis 2K, jointly developed by Xiaomi and the CSOT extension, with maximum brightness at 3000 nits, variable refresh rate 1 - 120Hz, and which supports the HDR10 + and Dolby Vision. The screen also offers PWM weakening at 1920Hz.
New All Around Liquid display of the device curves slightly downwards on all four sides and corners with a constant curvature, maintaining the visual aesthetics of a flat screen while providing the smooth feel with curved edges.
The new All Around Liquid screen solves the problems found in traditional curved screens, such as distortion, color inaccuracies and random touch activations, improving reliability, as the company emphasizes.
In fact, under certain angles, the screen gives the impression that the content is floating above it, offering a completely new visual and tactile experience.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and has circular cold pump cooling system with a vapor-liquid separation design, with a one-way circulation structure, promising up to 3 times better performance than traditional VC cooling systems.
The phone has a layout of triple cameras at 50MP which are mounted on a large island, with the main camera having a large sensor at 50MP (1/1.31″ 1.2μm), variable aperture f/1.42 ~ f/4 for excellent background blur (blur background), so that it captures every detail clearly. You can also manually set the aperture value with 1/3 EV step increase for better exposure control.
It also has a Ultrawide camera at 50MP and one telephoto lens at 50MP with optical zoom 3.2 times, which are the same as the cameras on the Xiaomi 14. All the cameras on the device feature Summilux lenses by Leica.
The phone also features a physical haptic feedback engine with the 1016 CyberEngine motor, developed jointly with the University Tsinghua, .
The device is powered by one battery at 4880mAh which supports wired charging at 120W, which can charge up to 100% of the battery in 18 minutes, the wireless charging at 50W to charge 100% in 40 minutes, but also the reverse wireless charging at 10W. The device is equipped with two charging chipsets – the Xiaomi Surge P2 and an additional battery management chipset – the Xiaomi Surge G1. The phone is also certified IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
