The changelog is quite extensive (see screenshots above), but we must warn you not to expect HyperOS to be a huge departure from MIUI. Sure, there are some new features and the appearance has been slightly improved, but it hasn't fundamentally changed compared to the MIUI 14 we've known until now.
Rebranding MIUI to HyperOS is more about marketing, and not something completely new. Of course, this could all change in future versions of HyperOS.
The changelog mentions that there is optimized performance for each device, which is good, but we haven't felt any difference in actual usage compared to MIUI.
The lock screen is highly customizable now, with multiple effects and some of the home screen icons have been revamped. The multi-window interface has also been upgraded.
The distribution of HyperOS will be done gradually in different regions and countries, so if you have European Xiaomi 13T Pro you may not have received the update notification yet, but it's only a matter of days before the update hits your device.
