Xiaomi is preparing to release the Xiaomi 13Ultra in China by the end of this month, which will be available in Europe almost immediately afterwards, and now we can get a first look at the device's design from new renders leaked today

So today, we can enjoy it Xiaomi 13Ultra  in all its glory, thanks to some leaked renders courtesy of the well-known leaker OnLeaks (through Smartprix).

As you can see from the images below, the device has a leather finish on the back black as well as white, which curves to the level of the metal frame. Also, the glass covering the front display also has a slight curve along its edges, but it doesn't seem to be sharp enough to bother.

While the other two smartphones in the Xiaomi 13 series have a square camera module (island), the 13 Ultra immediately catches our attention with its huge circular island located right in the middle of the upper back, reminiscent of last year's Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

On this huge circular islet there will be altogether four cameras along with one dual LED Flash and a microphone. We don't know the exact specifications of the main camera, but Xiaomi might use the sensor Sony IMX 989 at 50MP (also used in Xiaomi 13 Pro) combined with a variable aperture lens from Leica.

The top half of the phone's back appears to be slightly raised, possibly due to the extra hardware needed by the device's cameras. This makes the 13 Ultra to have thickness about 15.6mm at its thickest point, which is quite large for a modern phone. We will have to wait and see how balanced the weight distribution is and whether it affects the handling of the phone.

The previous leaks that have been released to date show that the Xiaomi 13Ultra will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, in combination with 8/12/16GB of RAM and 256/512 and 1TB of storage space.

Η 6,7 inch AMOLED screen of the device will have120Hz refresh rate, and will be powered by one battery at 4900mAh with fast wired charging at 90w through the door USB-C and 50W wireless charging.

In terms of pricing, leaks coming from Weibo claim that the base version of the phone with 8GB / 256GB it could cost in China around 6.300 Yuan, that is a little over the 900 dollars, while its top variant Xiaomi 13 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage will be 8.000 Yuan, i.e. approximately fa 1.165 dollars.

Of course prices will be quite a bit higher in Europe, and the device won't be made available in the US.
