The Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which launched in China last year, never made its global debut, but that looks set to change with the 13 Ultra, and we'll finally see it launch in Europe
It leaked a few weeks ago real photo of Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which gives us a lot of information about the iconic design that the back of the device will have.
All indications are that the flagship type camera unit DSLR which has it 12S Ultra it will carry over to the upcoming one as well Xiaomi 13Ultra. In the published photo, we see that the device has one large circular Camera Module, on which the camera with the characteristic sensor is mounted 1 inch and its brand name Leica.
The Xiaomi 13Ultra appears to have a white leather-textured back cover. Some seams are also visible on the sides, hinting that the back of the device will have one faux leather finish as in 12S Ultra.
Atop the large circular Module will also be a quad camera setup with its logo Leica In the center. In addition, the device appears to have dual LED flash and the design of the leaked camera module could suggest that the upcoming device will also have a periscope camera at 48MP, similar to the one we saw on the 12S Ultra. The main camera is expected to feature one 1 inch sensor, probably the same sensor Sony IMX989 at 50MP which the 12S Ultra also has.
In addition to cameras, the device may be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC of Qualcomm, or even the 8+ Gen 2 SoCs once Qualcomm releases it later. The Xiaomi 13Ultra is expected to have 6,7 inch AMOLED screen analysis WQHD + with curved edges, refresh rate at 120Hz, and a notch in the center of the upper part, under which the Selfie camera will be housed.
All the available information we have collected so far indicates that the Xiaomi 13Ultra will be released on the global market (and in Europe) on beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2023.
