Wind: Announced changes to the conventional terms of mobile telephony

Σthe framework for promoting transparency and better communication with subscribers, h WIND announces:

i) the modification of the Terms of Connection to the Mobile Telephony Network and in particular of the section concerning the activation and the duration of prepaid connections.

It is clarified that these changes are aimed at the better and more comprehensible performance of the terms, while the rules regarding the way of activation and duration of prepaid connections, which were valid until today, do not change.

Below are the terms that are modified from July 1, 2022

GENERAL TERMS OF CONNECTION TO THE MOBILE TELEPHONY / SERVICE NETWORK

9. ACTIVATION - DURATION

9.1 This Connection, as long as the Application has been completed and submitted by the Subscriber accompanied by the Responsible Declaration of Article 6, paragraph 1 and has been accepted by the Company, takes effect from the date the Subscriber connects to the Company's network / makes a call through the Company's network.

9.2 The Subscriber in order to make an outgoing transaction from his Login must renew the balance of the money in the available ways. The cash balance that the Subscriber has in his account can be consumed within a period of time two (2) months from the last renewal date. After the expiration of two (2) months from the last date of renewal, the remaining cash balance in the Association is automatically deleted, even if it has not been used up.

It is clarified that the available cash balance from previous months is retained in the Subscriber Login if it is renewed within two months. The available cash balance can be used by the Subscriber for mobile telephony services (calls, messages and data), and its consumption in this case is carried out in accordance with the applicable Price Lists of the Company, which are available at the following links https://www.wind.gr/gr/f2g/timokatalogos/ and https://www.myq.gr/gr/xrewseis-q/.

In addition, the Subscriber can use the available cash balance of his account in order to activate prepaid service packages, the prices, benefits and duration of which are determined in the respectively published Price List of the Company. As long as the Subscriber has activated packages, the consumption of the services integrated in them precedes and when they are exhausted, the available cash balance is consumed, according to the Price List of the Company.

It is clarified that after the expiration date of each package, the integrated use, which it contains is automatically deleted from the Subscriber Login, even if it has not been consumed and the charge starts based on the Company Price List, if there is a cash balance available.

9.3 After the expiration two (2) months from the last purchase of cash, activation of outgoing calls, messages and data is activated and a possible remaining cash balance is barred, while within the above period the Subscriber can make calls to Emergency Numbers. After the expiration four (4) months from the last renewal of the money balance, additional blocking of incoming calls, messages and data is activated.

During this time and until their completion thirteen months (13) from the last renewal the Subscriber can renew the financial balance of his Association in order to fully restore the possibility of outgoing and incoming traffic. After the expiration thirteen months (13) from the last cash balance renewal, the Connection is completely disconnected and ceases to be connected to the Company's mobile network, while its re-activation is no longer possible with a simple renewal of the talk time, but a re-submission of the Connection Request is required.

After the end six (6) months from the date of termination of the Connection, the telephone number corresponding to it can be assigned to a new subscriber.

ii) H WIND, in the context of implementing its provisions Regulation (EU) 2022/612 of 6 April 2022 introduces new measures to increase transparency and announces the modification of the mobile terms for private and corporate contract subscribers as well as prepaid services regarding roaming services in order to provide information on the types of services increased roaming charges.

Finally, the relevant terms will include information on the terms and quality of roaming service when roaming within the Union in accordance with its guidelines. BEREC.
