Vodafone - Wind - Nova - Cosmote: Facilitation of communication to and from Ukraine

Recognizing the growing need for communication due to developments in Ukraine, all telecommunications providers in our country, offer free calls and messages to those trying to get in touch with family and friends at Ukraine.

These are sad times for Europe and for the whole world. Although the Vodafone has no workers in Ukraine, actively supports all those affected by the war.

Thus, with immediate application for the next five days, all Vodafone companies in Europe will provide free roaming to all its customers remaining in Ukraine.

In addition, the Group offers free calls and text messages to all mobile and fixed networks of Ukraine for its customers and people Vodafone in Greece and Europe trying to get in touch with their families and friends in Ukraine.

There will also be a donation, through the Vodafone Foundation, up to 500.000 euro by His Humanitarian Fund in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) into a Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary to support refugees arriving from Ukraine.

This action also includes a donation to United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) with which Vodafone has a long-standing partnership in order to support its activities in the field.

Η Nova and Wind Hellas, members of United Group, with a sense of solidarity and understanding for the increased need for communication, offer free calls to and from Ukraine on mobile and fixed telephony.

More specifically, from today February 25 at 16:00 up to and including them 10 March, free speech will be provided on international calls from Greece to Ukraine at:

  • fixed telephony customers Nova and Wind, individuals and businesses
  • mobile contract customers wind, individuals and businesses
  • prepaid holders Wind F2G or Q card (to whom the cost will be refunded to their account on 11 March)

This initiative is part of its response United Group for developments in Ukraine, and is offered by subsidiaries to their subscribers.

Recognizing the growing need for communication due to developments in Ukraine, the COSMOTE supports mobile subscribers in the country, offering it to everyone for free 300 minutes of talk time, 300 SMS and 1GB for roaming use. The offer was activated automatically on 25/2, valid for seven days and the eligible subscribers have been informed by SMS.

Furthermore, the COSMOTE to facilitate its subscribers in Greece, who have communicated or communicated with their own people in Ukraine, returns the value of international calls and SMS between the two countries, which were made or will be made in the period from 24/2 up to 2/3.

Specifically:

  • The value of prepaid international calls and SMS from Greece to Ukraine, as well as the value of prepaid production calls, MB and SMS from Ukraine to Greece and Ukraine, will be returned to the account of mobile, private contract subscribers and businesses, while to prepaid and postpaid subscribers it will be returned to the rest of them.
  • to landline customers, individuals and businesses, the value of debit international calls to Ukraine will be refunded to their account.
