This new technology is designed to enable faster upload speeds and extend mobile coverage, making the trials the first of their kind in Europe.
In a joint statement, the companies explained that the partnership includes the combination of autonomous (SA) Vodafone's 5G with the last Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and an upcoming one Xiaomi flagship class smartphone.
