There have been various leaks and teasers for the upcoming vivo X Fold3 which is expected to be released within the month.
On the occasion of a recent leak that took place on Weibo, we see in the following poster some of the specifications of the upcoming one vivo X-Fold3 foldable smartphone.
The line X-Fold3 it will be remarkably light and thin. The poster indicates that the X-Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro, fully open, will be thinner than vivo X5 Max which so far is the thinnest smartphone on the market in 5.1 mm.
Beyond thickness, h vivo confirms to us that the upcoming foldables will be as well lighter than typical smartphones, without yet knowing the weight of the devices. However, one more confirmation we have is that both X Fold3 models will have IPX8 durability.
Main specifications of the series vivo X-Fold3
The X Fold3 Pro will be the first foldable smartphone to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC while the X-Fold3 expected to be released with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
The new series will feature as main screens SAMSUNG E7 AMOLED at 8.03 inches with 2K resolution, maximum brightness at 3000 nits and two scanners ultrasonic fingerprints. One will be on the internal screen and the other on the external screen.
Both models will feature impressive cameras with OIS. More specifically:
- Main camera at 50MP
- Ultra wide angle lens at 50MP
- Periscope telephoto lens at 64MP
- They will be equipped with its V3 imaging chip vivo
In the field of software, it will be responsible for Origin OS 4 which is version based Android 14 and the device will be powered by a battery at 5500mAh with fast wired charging at 120w - wireless at 50W.
It is rumored that the X-Fold3 will be available at 7,999 CNY ($1,133) while the X Fold3 Pro will logically start at 9,999 CNY ($1,391).
