Check out the first 4K/60FPS video samples from the Poco F1.

The PocoXiaomi's F1 phone was one of the biggest surprises when it launched in 2018. It had great specs, amazing cameras, and a price that made even OnePlus look overpriced.

ΑSince then, the phone has received many upgrades to its operating system (Miui), including Android 9.0 and its UI upgrade (MIUI special edition).

The latest MIUI 10 9.3.1 Beta update allows users to test 60FPS recording in 1080P and 4K. However, there is a limitation - users will not be able to use Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), which is offered in 30FPS recording options.

Let's take a look at some sample videos from YouTube to see how well the phone captures 4K / 60FPS videos. For the best viewing experience, we recommend watching videos in 2160p resolution, and as you will see, these are some very impressive results for a phone in the $ 300 price range.

Overall, the phone does a good job of keeping the focus steady and has good color detail outdoors. By comparison, the OnePlus 6T could not maintain a steady focus in the outdoor environment, as shown in the videos above.

It is worth noting that Dewang Rocker (see second clip) shared a 4K / 60FPS video file size of 5 minutes and 26 seconds. It was only 1,72 GB, which is great for the quality it provides.

It also reports that Samsung phones and OnePlus phones heat up during similar recording periods, but it had no problems recording on Pocophone F1.

While the aforementioned phones broke 4K recording time at 5 minutes, Dewang Rocker was able to record a video clip 26 seconds longer on Pocophone F1.

Many of the comments on the video have pointed out the lack of image stability during recording. But for the price it has Poco F1, there must be some cuts.

The update also adds Widevine L1 support for Hulu and Amazon Prime, but not for Netflix.

In addition, it fixes some of the touch problems that users face.
