Huawei: New Mate 40 Series With Top Features - Incredible Cameras And High Prices Official

At an online event held today, its CEO Huawei, Richard Yu, took the stage to reveal the latest flagship of the Chinese company.

Η new series of Mate 40 is unfortunately also without the applications and services from Google, and Huawei App Gallery has not yet been enriched with a wide variety of other popular applications.

Thus, while the material (Hardware) of the devices is undoubtedly impressive, it will be very difficult for the company to find an impact in the western markets.

The order of Mate 40 powered by the new Kirin 9000 5G SOC of Huawei, which is made by the method of lithography in 5nm, but if we believe the rumors that have circulated, the Huawei has only about 10 million units of this SoC in stock, so there will definitely be a limit to the production of these devices.

Due to the ongoing trade restrictions imposed on the company by the US Government, it is currently not possible to TSMC to continue to supply semiconductors to Huawei that are manufactured using US technology.

If we add to the above problems the fact that these new Smartphones will not be compatible with many popular applications, then it is certain that the Huawei is facing a very difficult situation, and will not be able to sell many devices outside of China.

The available colors

This is really very unfair for the company as well Huawei has once again created some extremely exciting material. The Mate 40 Pro has a great 6,76 inch OLED screen with excessively curved edges that lean around the sides.

There is also a relatively large hole in the screen in the shape of a pill, under which the Selfie camera is housed in 13MP with wide angle lens (120 °), but also them 3D sensors for face unlock function (Face Unlock).

Below the screen there is also a fingerprint scanner, for those who prefer this biometric method of unlocking the device.

Their battery 4,400mAh The device supports both wireless charging at 50W as well as wired charging at 66W. Its basic version Mate 40 has the6,5 inch OLED screen with the same refresh rate at 90 Hz, and on the screen there is the classic small hole for the Selfie camera, but also the fingerprint scanner.

There is also a model Mate 40 Pro +, but also the Porsche Design Mate 40 RS with some luxurious features and design.

Its new flagships Huawei have an excellent Setup of cameras equipped with lenses designed by Leica in partnership with Huawei, which not only can compete with its new flagships Apple,Of Google and Xiaomian, but really to become the best cameras on Smartphone right now.

In fact, now Mate 40 PRO has conquered the top in DxOMark with an overall score 138, throwing it Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra in second place.

All models in the series Mate 40 use the huge main sensor in 50MP RYYB, which allows an incredible amount of light to reach the sensor, and of course the lenses made by Leica.

In the other cameras, the Mate 40 Pro accompanied by a super-wide-angle lens in 20MP (120°), a periscope lens in 12MP with 5x optical zoom, while basic version of Mate 40 has a slightly less impressive super-wide lens at 16MP and one telephoto lens at 8MP with 3x optical zoom, but it is certain that he will also be able to take great photos.

The new series of Mate 40 will be released with the E softwareHuawei MUI 11 (based on Android 10), and App Gallery Huawei replaces the Google Play Store. Apart from the Google applications that simply do not exist, the bad thing is that you will not find many other useful and well-known applications, such as Netflix, Slack and Zoom, but many more will not work on the devices as expected.

This problem makes the sale of devices in Europe particularly problematic, despite the great strides that Huawei continues to make in the hardware segment.
