Η Sharp introduced its new smartphone line AQUOS with the brand new flagship Zero2, and sense3 and sense3 plus belonging to the middle class.
AQUOS Zero 2
ΤAQUOS zero2 packs an impressive 6,4-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 240Hz, which is twice as good as today's Asus ROG Phone II, and it would be interesting to see how it performs in real conditions.
Sharp is also proud to announce the lightest 6-inch Smartphone, as it weighs just 143 grams.
The screen comes with FHD + resolution and a notch for the Selfie camera at 8MP. There is also a built-in fingerprint reader, as well as the less secure face unlock system (Face Unlock). The back of the device has a dual camera installation with the main camera at 12 MP (f / 1.7), and a secondary camera of 20MP (f / 2.4).
AQUOS zero2 packs the Snapdragon 855 chipset in combination with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (UFS 3.0). The capacity of the battery is 3.130 mAh, which is rather small due to the high refresh rate of the screen. The phone is also water and dust resistant thanks to its IPX5 / IPX8 / IP6X certifications. In terms of software, this device will "run" Android 10.
It will be available in Astro Black and Misty White colors, but there is still no word on pricing. The phone will be available from December.
AQUOS sense3
ΤAQUOS sense3 packs a 5,5-inch IGZO panel with FHD + resolution and 18: 9 aspect ratio. At the top of the front of the device is housed a Slefie camera at 8 MP, while at the bottom it has a fingerprint reader. On the back of the device, we have a combination of dual camera, with the main sensor at 12 MP (f / 2.0), and a second wide-angle camera at 12MP (f / 2.4).
This device "wears" the Snapdragon 630 in combination with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The battery has a capacity of 4.000 mAh and the phone runs Android 9 Pie.
AQUOS sense3 plus
The AQUOS sense3 plus is equipped with a 6-inch IGZO FHD + display and features dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. The Selfie camera has an 8MP sensor and there is a fingerprint reader on the bottom panel.
This device "wears" the Snapdragon 636 with 6GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of storage. The battery capacity reaches 4.000 mAh and the phone will come with Android 9 Pie. There is no clear release date for any of the above three Sharp Smartphones.
