Η Samsung expands its portfolio with a new 5G Smartphone called Galaxy A42 5G.
ΣToday the company made a somewhat strange announcement, in which it provided us with some photos of the device, but only informed us of some of its specifications with the promise to inform later about the other features of the device.
The Galaxy A42 5G will be equipped with one 6,6 inch Super AMOLED screen but we do not know the analysis of the panel. The A41 already has a screen with a resolution of 1080p, so it would be a surprise A42 5G to have a better screen. The fingerprint sensor will be located below the screen and the Selfie camera will be located below the waterdrop notch at the top of the screen.
On the back of the device there are four cameras mounted on a square Module, but so far we do not know some details about their composition and the sensors used. All we are sure of is the tiny lens in the lower right, which clearly indicates that it will be a depth sensor.
The last thing we can conclude with certainty comes from the name of the device - and the new one Galaxy A42 5G should be cheaper than Galaxy A51 5G with next generation network support, but it's too early to guess what the price will be.
The full specifications of the new Galaxy A42 5G will be revealed later as we approach its release. The Galaxy A40 and Galaxy A41 were released last March, but this time Samsung seems to be breaking the 12-month cycle.
